Back to grindingly slow again. Actually, this is the first time I've been able to load the page in what feels like (but might be shorter than) a couple of hours. It's timed out every other time I've tried to load it.

Yeah, remember when the faster modems came out and how we thought it was the best thing since sliced bread. I remembering connecting to bulletin boards and watched in amazement as one line at a time refreshed my IBM screen thinking "this is great!"

Could it partially be because we hit an all time high in users connected yesterday?

By it still takes 30-90 seconds for pages to reload, at least at 8pm PST here in Los Angeles.

Yes, it's being looked at. No idea when it will be fixed yet. Hopefully, the site owner will shed some light soon.

Still very, very slow today in Houston. Today is worse than yesterday and yesterday was worse than Monday. Pages are not loading and those that don't time out, take a minute + to load. Very frustrating, but I am sure it will get fixed. It always has in the past.

Yep, definitely seems better right now. It's amazing how we've all become so used to fast connections that when a site feels like dial up, we get pissed, myself included! I love the "now" generation!
