hey guys;

ive had the storm for a few days.

only when i go to write an email/text message or get into typing mode, this weird shape and line appear. it sometimes appears in both the lower right corner and upper right corner.

the 2nd picture is more telling...................

it is NOT the up arrow or down arrow to scroll in the email, rather, an erroneous shape.

when i scroll down or up, the shape disappears.

when i go to any other screen, the screen is 100% perfect, no dead pixels...

i've tried pulling the battery, upgrading OS, everything.

help?

I have the same thing going on and was contemplating whether or not to post about it... I think it is just an OS glitch... ??

i got my storm a few days ago and it was perfectly fine...

i updated my OS today to .75 and that was the first time i noticed them...

must be an OS glitch ...

it can't be fixed?

I use .75 and get it every once in a while. If I rotate my screen it goes away.

I think it must be an OS issue. I have .85 and have never seen this.

Odd. I have been using .75 since it leaked and I have yet to see this appear on my screen.

I think the blue triangle is supposed to be there to indicate you can scroll up or down. I do notice that it does glitch up and display all weird like you see in your pics often though.

It seems to be a scrolling issue. The triangles change as I scroll up and down. A minor glitch in my view.

Those arrows are indicators that you have more screen to view (either up or down depending upon direction). I'm actually glad for them as they help me get my bearing on where I am on a particular screen.

The arrows indicate that you can scroll to see more screen. if you scroll to the top of the email you'll see the top arrow disappear indicating that you can no longer scroll up.

This is a standard usage paradigm for many devices... not just the blackberry.

god, this phone reeks of problems. I'm so glad I got rid of mine a month ago. I can't believe they still haven't came out with a new official update from verizon.

You can make that arrow appear by going into your email in landscape mode then turning your storm to portrait mode or vice-versa. It will appear, you can make it go away by using the scroll buttons. But you have to use the buttons and not just scroll up and down to make it go away, it will be replaced with the normal arrow.
