Default Anyone have Desktop Manager for Mac?

Please Login to Remove!

hi folks, i have googled my brains out trying to find this program. ALL of the versions here:

desktopmanager.berlios.de

are no longer available. ALL the links i find for it send you back to that site!

i have no way of getting programs onto my BB. Pocketmac doesnt work, Missing Sync wont do programs.

any help out there? the actual program is really small..... thanks for the help!

(ps, if there is any other way to get programs from mac to BB, that's all i need.)

As far as I know there is no Desktop Manager for Macs at this time. RIM is working on a solution but it has not been released. PocketMac is the official solution for syncing at the moment, with MissingSync being another option, as you listed. In the meantime, the best solution is to use either VMWare Fusion or Boot Camp to load Windows to update your device.

There is no easy or foolproof way to get non-ota programs from the mac to the bb. Buy a used notebook pc.

I use an old notebook I found in the warehouse where I work. It was so old nobody wanted it but it runs DM just fine!

How about perfmoring a search in the forums? There's another thread out there that just started a couple weeks ago about this.

But, go to Blackberry.com and search for PocketMac SyncManager... it works for Macs as it works fine for my MacBook Pro (10.5.6).

thanks for the help, guys. unfortunately, buying a pc just to sync my BB isnt going to happen anytime soon!

i mainly just want 2 programs: opera mini, and a game. can i either use bluetooth, or direct downloading from the internet, to get these onto my BB?

Don't know about the game since you didn't say what it was but Opera Mini can be downloaded using your BB. Just go to the site using your BB browser and click on the download link.

Mac users are somewhat limited in what they can do with a BlackBerry. OTA downloads are your friend.
