Default plazmic Phantom Theme

Please Login to Remove!

If you go Settings->Theme->Download Themes there are finally some new themes for the 8100 in there. Among some amusing ones like "Sunday Comics" there is a "Phantom" theme, which is very unique, and kind of cool, but I'm trying to figure it out. Can anyone figure out it there is a battery meter and a reception indicator?

Might want to check some previous topics regarding the new themes, there's plenty of Phantom talk in one or two of them (general consensus seems to be that the theme sucks.. i concur with that)

The Phantom theme initially caused my phone to lock-up. I immediately changed it to the today plus theme and have used that one ever since.

I wasn't big on it but after reading about clearing my logs via alt lglg everything has been smooth as butter. My 8100 is running with no more lags.

The new Themes for 8100 devices can be downloaded over the air from mobile.blackberry.com using the BlackBerry Internet Browser or BlackBerry Browser on the handheld. (The WAP browser will not work).

Just doenloaded the Phantom theme last night. Haven't had any lock up probelms, but I have had to study it a bit to find things ( i.e; battery and signal strength meters).

Can anyone tell me what it means when the entire trianglular shaped wallpaper area turns bright red, obliterating your wallpaper? This has happened to me a couple of times, doesn't seem to be tied with any actual functionality, nor does it seem to be correlated to signal/battery strength, at least as far as I can tell.

when it turns red its supposed to indicate a missed call or a text message and so on.. when it locks up just reset your theme to the phantom again and it should work fine.. it only locked up on me once

For me, Phantom theme just works great! Or maybe I've just downloaded its latest version?

For convenience, I've extracted files to alx package, so you can use Desktop Manager to install the theme, Technology Blog: BlackBerry Pearl - 8100 - Phantom theme

I never had a problem with the phantom theme. I love it. I wish there was a way to make the red a bluish color..the thing i like the most is the menu, the way it shows in list form.

The theme is awes.. I love it yeah the red is when you get a msg or that - blue would be cl tho. But what about when the corners glow red just slightly??? Did anyone figure out what the battery meter is or when it and the reception meter can be found? hmm

Talking Phantom theme

*smiles brightly*
contrary to the post of other I am a proud user of the phantom theme. I love it.
I like how my menu is, my messages, most of all the display. I have a picture of me that sits in the "y" like part.... very nice.

Yes.... if you exit out like you're making a call. Then there is a battery bar in the upper right hand corner.
