Default Quiet Ringer, No Ringer, Ringer off?

Please Login to Remove!

my ringer volume is at 10 and still very quiet.. is there another place I should be looking to turn it up? Also, when the phone is ringing (an incoming call) at the bottom it says "ringer off" with the speaker icon and the line through it. What's the deal with that?

The deal is "turn off the sound of the call without rejecting the call".

The bottom of the screen is touchscreen right?
I imagine if you touched the screen where it says "ringer off" it will turn the ringing off, but the call would continue.

Is that the profile icon you are looking at. Perhaps you've set your profile to silent or all alerts off?

On the ringtone volume, there's probably nothing you can do about it, at least not with the stock ringtones. You might see if you can select one that is more intense, or download some that are more intense.

I recall over the years there has been this sort of issue with a device and it eventually is resolved with an OS upgrade.

the default settings for the torch are set to like 5...turn them up..also they are set to not vibrate and ring at the same time...check ur settings.

as for the "ringer off" that you see when the phone is ringing...that is to SILENCE the call. the call keep coming through, you just stop hearing it..pretty straight forward.

Ok, my ringer and all sounds are set to loud, yet when a call comes in it is silent and says "ringer off" at the bottom of the screen. Help!

i had the same issue, could have something to do with the headphones, when i unplugged them the ringer was silent even though my ringer profile was set to loud. POwer off or take out the battery and reboot. That resolved it for me.
