Default OS: 9000 4.6.0.519/4.6.0.304 (AT&T Official) (Multilanguage)

Please Login to Remove!

Software For BlackBerry® Bold (TM) 9000 smartphone

BlackBerry Handheld Software v4.6.0.519 (Multilanguage)
From AT&T

Package Version: 4.6.0.519
Consisting of:
Applications: 4.6.0.304
Software Platform: 4.0.0.247
File name: 9000M_PBr4.6.0_rel519_PL4.0.0.247_A4.6.0.304_AT_am p_T.exe
File size: 96.79MB
Note: The Software Platform and Applications version numbers can be found under Options-About screen on the handheld.

Download the OS file here:
https://www.blackberry.com/Downloads...E4F82F9F00E7D4

1. Download the above OS file to the PC then install it to the PC by running (double clicking) the file you downloaded.
2. Go to c:\program files\common files\research in motion\apploader and delete the file named "vendor.xml."
3. Plug in BB and double click on "Loader.exe." It's located in the same place as the above vendor.xml file.

The process takes about 45 minutes to an hour depending on how much data you have to backup and restore during the process. Once it's done loading the new OS it will reboot (it may do this twice during the entire process.) You will see a white screen with an hourglass for up to 20 minutes at a time while the AppLoader says "waiting for initialization."
If, for some reason, you end up with a white screen with small icons and the number 507, simply connect to the PC again and run Loader.exe again and it should load the OS to the device.

I can send them fine but can't receive!

How can I revert back?

Have you tried wiping the unit with JL-Cmder and then reinstalling the OS from scratch? Sounds like something went wrong in the upgrade?

might you have a link to JL Cmder?

I usually just wipe the handheld - would that work also?

AT&T seems to be having some problems this week. See my separate thread on this board re: service books not coming down. Took me 2 days with their support and killed one phone to find out my account had mysteriously changed to BES which screwed up my service books.

Updated to 304 last night, all is well.

Can't seem to get an app thru app world - says its not available??

This isn't a .304 OS problem, it's an AT&T/RIM server problem sending the service books. It'll straighten out.

Yes, I am having a problem on two different devices with AppWorld this AM, neither of them a Bold. I can connect, just won't download, giving a TCP error.

Mines better than with .216, but still not good enough, at least for my liking.
