im curious as to what it is. it is installed (i have .244) and i cannot figure out what it is.

i dont see any apps or anything on my berry that are remotely close to an app center other than the service books (and they arnt an app center)

can anyone shed some light on me as to what it is?

It's not being used yet. It is installed and when it becomes live, your carrier will push out a service book that will make it active.

ahh ok. i figured it had something to do with an "app store" type of thing. just wasnt sure

I believe AT&T is suppose to go live in Q2 2009. Not sure about other carriers.

The fact that BB FORCES you to use PayPal makes the store unuseable for me and many others.

PayPal is HORRIFIC... I will never ever use them. In 8 years of having PayPal (before I canceled last year) I have 5 illegal charges. Only 3 times was I given 100% of my stolen money back. The other 2 I was given like 97% and was told they can only credit me so much.. blah blah blah.. even though it was 100% illegally taken. I have several friends all with similar experiences. PayPal is NOT SECURE and will not always protect/refund your money.

Even my bank has stopped allowing PayPal to accounts. They said they have had so many issues they stopped allowing PayPal to access checking account with them.
