So, I've been searching for a while now, and while I do like AT&T's theme, I am looking for a Today theme for my 8820.
I've tried few very nice looking Today themes, but they are all designed for 8800 and are missing WiFi icon. Maybe something else but I did not find it. Also, so far I have not found a Today theme that displays All-day events on the Today screen. In my searches I found conflicting reports, some say that All-day events cannot be displayed and some are saying that there are (were) themes that did display them (for example Overlord theme for 8700).
So, has anyone found a good 8820 Today theme that has WiFi icon and does display All-day events?
All today themes will provide the same functionality as far as what events are displayed. I believe the limitation you speak of is that of recurring events not showing on screen which is a limitation common to all today style themes.
I'm not sure about the wifi icon. I'd like to investigate it for theme development, but so far no 8x20 simulators have been released.
Sorry about Overlord confusion. 8820 is my first BB and I thought that information I found about Overlord was regarding a Today theme.
Anyway, it would be very unfortunate if there is no way to have recurring events displayed on the Today screen. In any case, I guess I have to wait for nice today themes for 8820. For some reason I did not like vendor themes that came with it. None of them clicked, if you know what I mean.

and Calix ATT Today v2 does show WiFi icon. It is not themed but at least it shows.
So, on another not, what is the difference between Today and Today Plus?
