Hi,
I just changing from curve 8310 to Bold 9000 about 3 days ago.
However, I'm having trouble like the title says, about an hour ago there's an icon of new message in top of my bold's screen, but then I already check there's no new email or sms, I've deleted all messages on my inbox also restarting my Bold, it still exist. Can anyone help me? I never had this kind of problem when using curve for couple months.

When you say restarted the Bold, did you actually do a battery pull? If not, try that...

yes i did hard reset...

Not sure if there is a easier way to do this but at my job when this happen to our clients we have them wipe their device real quick, and then we get them enterprised activated again, but again we are on a enterprised enviroment.

This has happened to me a couple times. Once I clicked on the date in the message folder and clicked "mark prior opened" and a deeply buried message was to blame. The second time I did a battery pull and it fixed the stray icon.

I helped a colleague with a similar issue; we discovered that he had a couple of Saved Messages. To view them, access your Inbox, click on the Menu key, and click on Saved Messages. If the "new" saved messages appear, you can delete them or mark them as read. Good luck.
