Garmin seems very rudimentary compared to the ATT Navigator. Maybe I just need to get used to it. ATT Nav routing is still pretty darn quirky sometimes. My favorite thing it does is it sometimes takes you off and on an exit ramp even though you are going straight.

Nav4all is horrendous. Surprised that people recommend it on these boards!

Mapquest Navigator is my software of choice. Very reliable here in Indiana and I like the price.

I like Telenav equally well, but Mapquest is cheaper. Also I tried Garmin very briefly but didn't care for the interface at all. It's all just a personal preference.

It will only recognize road closures in 2 instances.

1) the road condition is reported through the traffic reporting system
2) Navteq has been notified and have updated their maps.

If the closure is temporary, option 2 is off the table. If the closure is permanent, you can go to Navteq's web site and notify them.

Telenav can only use the info availble to it.

A lot of people are willing to put up with quite a bit for the price of free.

does anyone have a link to Telenav 5.1? All the links that I have found send me to AT & T Nav 1.5. I really don't like that one.
