Smile Spare Parts for Curve ATT

Please Login to Remove!

My BB Curve needs a new spring clip to hold the SD card in place. I have been looking all around the net and cannot find. I am trying to repair the one I have [purchased used but in Great Shape and works well!]
Any suggestions on who sells these very small parts
This is located under the battery and next to the SIMM card slot.
The clip slides over the top of the SD Card and locks it in place.
On my card the side clamp has been bet so it will not slide over the SD card!

Hello, I don't think you're going to find a specific parts dealer for that, there's not many sellers that have a hefty supply of certain parts, in order to fix mine, I had to buy a cheap-o parts Curve. 83XX Curve I'm assuming? If so, you may be in luck, I'm about to sell my 8300, and you would be able to use it for parts, anything you needed, screen, hinges, clips, etc. - It will be good for parts, as it has, should we say, 'served its time'. Mechanically, works perfectly, cosmetically, it looks like it's been through a war.

You could try the lower regions of Ebay if you haven't already, maybe some wholesalers from Asia would carry what you're looking for. Also, since MicroSD cards are universal in media phones, you don't necessarily need that part from another blackberry, as they should all be the exact same on media phones; so if you have an old crappy one, or know a friend that broke his/hers, you could easily take the part from his/her phone, no matter if it's a BB or not. Good luck.

Joe

Is the "Replacement Memory Card Door for Blackberry 8100, 8300 & 8800 series" on this page what you're looking for?
"pdarepairworld.com - BlackBerry Repair Parts for BlackBerry 8300, 8310, 8320, 8330"

I can't vouch for the vendor. They were just the first Google hit.
