I just watched a video on youtube from my Curve.

Actually, I've been able to watch youtube for the past couple of OSs. Are you on WiFi right now or on EDGE?

I've had the texting lag issue and gotten the hourglass without any apps running. Did a soft reboot but nothing changed much. File free is 14096807 Bytes so I guess that's not the problem. Any clues?

Hi, I was having trouble at first getting this to work.. I really didn't know how to APP Loader worked!

I finally figured it out, downloaded the file, installed on my computer, then used the app loader to update everything on my BB. About 5 minutes in, I got this error: Unspecified error encountered [A:0x00000001]

Any ideas?
Thanks!

EDIT: I fixed the problem.. If this happens, restart your computer and try again!!

I think that if you download an OS for your BB from another carrier you can delete the vendor.xml and use the loader to update you BB
I've upgraded unlocked tmo 8320 and during calls it will reboot....Anyone have any ideas? This is not the first time that I've upgraded and ending up downgrading. Please help!

i used to get that hour glass periodically too, and my battery was wasting ridiculously fast for some reason. I turned off the GPS location option and my battery is now lasting longer and the phone isn't lagging as much as it used to. But now the problem is, when i get text messages, sometimes the alert will not make a sound...

sometimes it will but its delayed about 3 seconds after the text is received, or it just wont make a sound at all...
only time it will make the alert sound when i get a text message is if i do a battery pull... anyone else having this problem?

8320 doesn't have GPS. What is it that you're turning off?
I've had the alert problem too, even with phone calls!!!
The lag issue is still present :(

its an option you can turn off. its called "GPS Services" gives you the open for "Location ON or Location OFF" and when i turned it off, it helped my battery last longer.
its in options>advanced options>gps

yea i hope there is a fix for the alert lag soon...

Maybe it's just me but since the update I can't backup my device content via DM. I select the option it starts and runs but at some point it says ERROR BACKING UP and stops. Anyone else?

This might be a problem with the browser cache or other browser databases. See if you can backup databases individually. Go to the backup tab and select Advanced. Then select all the databases except the browser ones and see if it backs up. Then you can try the browser related ones until one causes a problem.

I did what you suggested and that did the trick Thank you so much for your help.
I think I'm going to reinstall the browser since I don't even use it all that much, I like Opera mini better

Oh, also you might be able to go into options in the browser to clear the cache and cookies so it fixes the problem. I don't like deleting the cookies so I just load the corrupted databases from an older backup. But if you don't use the browser, try clearing all the cache and cookies through the Options menu while in the browser.
