Default Help: What to buy from Rogers?

Please Login to Remove!

Hi everyone:
I have an old BB 7290 and would like to purchase a Curve. I believe Rogers offers the 8310 model, but I see from the Rumour Mill that other carriers in Canada (e.g., Telus) are offering the 8330.
Does anyone know when Rogers will offer the 8330, and should I wait for it to arrive, or go with the 8310?

Thanks!

Rogers will never offer the 8330 as it is a CDMA network device. It just simply won't work on Rogers' network.

Go for the 8310, great device.

And, welcome to the BBF.

Yep. My device is the crimson 8310 and it's fantastic. I don't use WiFi so just the GPS is great for me.

You won't be sorry.

does rogers have something coming soon instead of 8310. 8330 has a lot more memory and is much faster. As i used a coworkers 8330 from telus to play with at work yesterday

I'm not sure if I remember it right but I think they'll be releasing the 8120 and would probably head to where UMA is...

If you are really looking for a nice Curve device, consider buying an unlocked 8320. It does everything the 8310 does but also has Wifi.

best chance for finding one is ebay, or better yet Craigs list. Most of the ones out there are t-mobile unlocks.

i agree.
for $50-$100 more you get an unlocked curve WITH wi-fi and you dont have to sign away 3 years of your life.
