I've been trying to see some basic info in my call logs (especially on missed calls) for a while now and can't seem to find what I'm looking for. Basically I want to see when the call was made so I know if I missed it just a few minutes ago or hours ago. But all I see is the number with no other info in the call log. If I try to get more info on the call it just dials the number. Now I did just notice today that while in messages, I can click menu and go to an item called "view folder". In there is a folder for missed calls and one for a general call log as well. If I go to these folders it shows me exactly what I'm looking for. And when I click on a number it shows what time, date, number, etc. for the call. How can I make this the default or is that even possible? Or can the call log just show this info?

Yes, when you choose View Folder, you should see list. There is a folder for Phone Call Logs. Select that folder, then you can select any phone call in the log. You can see the time it was made or received and how long it was.

If you click the Call Log icon on the home screen, or the green phone icon to the left of the menu key, you can select each call without it dialing the number. Hilight it with the trackball, press the menu key to the left of the trackball, and click view history. There you will see the details including time made or received.
