i noticed these two things today:

(1) my e-mail is not received (pushed) when my BB is connected/charging to my laptop via usb. anyone else having this issue?

(2) i loaded a image folder with some gif's. my media manager crashed (stalled and would not allow me to escape) when a gif image. i converted the images in photoshop to jpg, and the result was the same. i suppose indexed colored images throw my curve for a loop.

anny suggestions?
