Default Installed 4.5.0.66 still not HTML email?

Please Login to Remove!

I may be completely missing something, or just dumb, lol...

I thought I read somewhere that 4.5 had HTML support? Is this not true? And if so, how do I enable it?

Thanks,

-Corey

Are you expecting HTML on your BES (corporate) or BIS (personal?)

your device software is only part of the equation. The BES/BIS server must complete the puzzle.

I'm sorry, I should have specified... I'm just using gmail, no corporate server...

All I have under settings is Confirm Delivery, Confirm Read, and Send Read Receipts..

Nothing about HTML... Am I in the wrong area?

You need to have your service books resent. After that you will have the HTML options.

3 ways to re-send;

-options>advanced options>host routing table>menu key>register now

-Call your carrier and ask them to send

-Login to your BIS site and click send service books

Have you changed the setting now, after having received the SB's?

If I am running on BES 4.0 with the latest service packs and such, will my 8110 with OS 4.5 be able to support HTML e-mails and the various other enhancements of OS 4.5?

Not from the BES, it will need to be 4.1 sp6 IIRC. However, any BIS email accounts will support HTML with your setup

Exactly what I needed to hear. Thanks. I just moved the account over to my European BES server which is running on 4.1 SP6 and it works fine now.

Thanks.
