Default Your Seidio Experience?

Please Login to Remove!

Mine isnt so good so far. I ordered 64 dollars worth of stuff a week ago and they have yet to ship have yet to even talk to me. They did take the money oh yes! Answering email is a chore I guess for so little money.

RESOLVED WITH SEIDIO!

so I was just wondering if this is a random lousy service factor thing or have you had troubles also?

Thanks

Your experience is not typical.
I'm sure they'll make things right with you.

The only problem I have had is it usally takes about a week and a half to get my stuff. I use them because there stuff is good. And I have placed numerous orders.

so my experience is normal then? I wish I had known! My money is good instantly upon transferring. No post dated checks here. Maybe I should have paid with a promissory note that can be validated upon delivery?

BB forums has at least implied that seidio is a place we want to do business with. I never heard of them before coming here so BB Forums is at least partially responsible for how it's members are treated as they represent a big spending block of cash.

or maybe I am just obsessing ?

Don't get me wrong I have never had a problem with any of the products, to me it just seems to take while for delivery. And even though it does I will still buy from them because they have good products.

well thanks zerog46, I don't want to act like they were sending a replacement lung or the like... I guess I am just disappointed . But it's the time of the year for that I guess....

Pardon me, I'm gonna go take a pill.

Strange.

I placed an order on Nov 10th in the morning. Got an email confirmation of the order.

Then that afternoon I got a ship notice. Same day!

I paid for FedEx Express Saver which is 3-day service and got it...in three days.

Did you get an email confirmation? Have you gotten a ship notice with tracking number?

no fireproof. I got the sales advice on the web site saying my CC was charged but no email. No shipping notice. If you go to their web site you can put in your sign on and get a status on the order. It lists my order on the date I made it but nothing else. nothing.

under the area for shipping it is blank.

Hmm...that certainly does not seem typical from what I've read about their service.

Hopefully they'll see your post here and address it right away.

Best of luck.

FWIW - I've also purchased from them numerous times in the past and have always had quick shipments and good quality products.

well thanks all. I am glad to know their service is mostly good.

I don't know what happened to my order and I dont know if I will ever be ok with them now but I guess I am open to them trying to reach out to me to show me some reason for continued patronage.

This exchange so far has taken a week and they wont even talk to me. Makes me feel like a chump for making a purchase. I dont think that is what they were trying for. But it is what I am left with.

Have you taken the time to call them instead of relying on email? I think, if you will look on their site, there is a "contact us" section that gives a phone number for customer service. Perhaps before you start a thread here slamming them for not doing things as quickly as you like, you might try talking to a human being on the other end of the phone...that always seems to get the problem solved for me no matter what company I am dealing with.

Communication is the key. I am sure that everything will work out fine...be calm and patient. You are not their only customer, i'm sure.

Thank you DavisTLD. I was wondering when the customer would become the one blamed. Now I don't have to wonder anymore.

I just now saw this thread. It looks like Seidio has seen it as well and I'm sure your order will arrive ASAP. I'm sorry for your delayed shipment from one of our forum sponsors. BBF doesn't dictate to it's sponsors how to do business, nor do they dictate to the mods and admin how to run the forum, but they do have a great reputation here with the members and moderators alike. They make high quality products for a VERY demanding group of Blackberry users. I have placed orders myself from them (not specifying that I'm a BBF member or moderator even) and received it in a very timely manner several times in the past. Something just slipped through the cracks on your order. I'm sure they'll make it good to you.

I do, however, have to agree with davistld01. If I had ordered something from a company and had a concern about whether it was shipped I would try the email first (as that's why I have a BB.) Then if I received no response I would try to call them. I clicked the "Contact Us" link that davistld01 mentioned (easily found on their website, btw) and it took me directly to this:

Customer service

For any questions or concerns about your online order, please call 832-204-1118 or email us at [email address]

Did you try to call them? While your order probably shouldn't have taken this long, it's not quite fair to come and bash them here when you didn't really take all reasonable steps on your end.

Good luck.

~John

Sorry, SheepDog...I forgot you were in the victim-mode.

Not blaming you at all, no matter how you took it. I was just pointing out the quickest and most effective way to solve customer service issues. If there is a phone contact point given, I always use it instead of assuming that the person in charge checks his/her email every 15-minutes or so...which more than likely doesn't happen.

I have lots of experience with Seidio, and know that this problem can and will be solved quickly. It is not the norm...

In the "always connected" blackberry world, it's easy to forget that not everyone monitors their email in realtime like most of us. I have to remind my wife when she gets frustrated that a friend or vendor hasn't responded quickly enough.

A phone call is indeed a big help in situations like this. I remember when companies didn't even HAVE an email address for customer service. OH NOES!!!1111!!

Edit to include: I've had a situation before where my email was blocked by a spam blocker for some reason. So don't always assume your email has made it through - especially if a few business days have gone by and you haven't received a response.

I have never had a problem with Seido ... They have been great to me, and I have even made adjustments to my order via the telephone number.
