Spamming the site?

If you wish to add a brief review, please do. Otherwise, vendors can post a thread for their product here (in our Aftermarket Software section) and users are free to try, comment and seek support.

Just please don't redundantly spam this forum with your affections.

Thanks!

When you press the POST or POST QUICK REPLY buttons, it is not a test, it is the real thing.

After going to that site, I cannot find anything labeled "mini contact manager".

I hate when developers or employees post saying things like "I just found" and "wow, this is amazing!" etc... This post is very shady....

Oh, I don't hate it when they do that. I take it as evidence of the fact that they are being duplicitous and dishonest. My response is to assume that their offering is a POS unless someone else bites the bullet and proves that they are providing something of value. In essence, their attempt to over-sell their offer allows me to assume -- for at least the short-term -- that their product is worthless. Seen in this light, their behavior actually adds some value to me by saving me time! Not quite what they are hoping for, but more than they deserve.

I suspect that Sharon was a little taken aback by how sharp some of our comments were about her marketing attempts.

She may have a bunch of pressure on her to make some noise about the app. However, if you can't stand the heat...don't get into "commando marketing." If you don't want to hear very directly how customers feel about your marketing approach and products, not the place to be.

Her apology and clarification of her role and intentions would have sufficed...deleting her own posts is odd and self-defeating for her and her company. Unfortunate outcome.

I don't understand why she deleted her own first two initial posts. We PMed back and forth and got things straight about her not spamming the forum else, to be please check back in here and answer any questions in this thread about their product. However, today, she was posting useless "nothing" in some other threads just to get a plug in about the product. smfh.

And the sun will rise again tomorrow.

I actually use this-I lived in Europe for 15 years & they have some models that are just ariving here.

If I deleted anything, it's not "self defeating" it's being polite.

I appreciate your last response. Take Care!

Ce' parliamo Presto.

Arrivederci

Looking at the links in her signature -- I highly suspect she was making useless posts as a means of posting those links -- It's called SEO by spamming in my book.
