Default Blackberry Devices won't play videos from email links after moving to bes express 5.0

Please Login to Remove!

Good Morning,
Im the system admin of a small autodealer who is using BES Express with seven users. Previously we were on professional 4.1 software and the users didn't have any issues playing videos from email web links. Now after the move, none of the users can play video from weblinks. I've googled this to no end and the only results i get are about flash player coming to BB later this year. Old news.

I've searched this forum and only results i get are device specific and not related to this issue.

We don't use any custom IT policy, just the default "out of the box" policy.
Does any one know of issue like this?

I'm on a completly separate BES and email server (im in a dif company) and i have the same issue so i know its something with the express server software and not the blackberry devices.

Do any of you know of any setting or policy that would prevent a blackberry from playing a video from a web link?

This is the link from the email, its a simple webcast video.
autonews.com/article/20100908/VIDEO/309089981/1439

Why would it have worked on 4.1 pro, and not in express?

Thanks in advance.
Steve

Edit... Serioulsy, i have to have 10 posts to post a link?

This site is using flash to stream videos and flash is not available for BB (yet) so it is not working. The help says that this site is using the Brightcove Player which is using flash.

If it has worked before, check which browser you are surfing with, the Blackberry browser (going through BES) or the Internet browser (going via carrier).
