Hi,
I'm new to theme building so I've got a question.. I'd like to replicate (or modify ) an existing theme but I'm not sure I can.

I've installed Theme builder 5.0 because my BB is running OS 5. THe catch here is that my device is not listed in the drop down mene as you start Theme builder. It has everything up to the Curve 8950 but no Curve 3G or 9300.

Should I be using Theme Builder 6?

Also is it possible to modify an existing theme without the "project" files? I have a free theme installed that I like but would like to change the "hidden today" feature to a "today" so the messages and calendar always visible.

Oh.. BTW the theme was for the 85xx series, but works nicely on my 9300 with the exception of the quick launch "Media" button on top.

K.. small change.. I'm now running OS 6. So none of my previously installed Themes work anymore.. (didn't expect them to). Any now realizr Theme Builder 6 is only compatible with the Storm, for now..

So now the question is are there any Free themes for the 9300 and OS 6 yet?

In general it seems that there are very few themes for the 9300 at all.

There are currently no themes that are compatible with OS version 6.0. RIM has not yet released that functionality.

Hey Motorcycle Mama.. Thanks. I was begining to discover that..
I'm now trying to figure out if upgrading to OS 6 was even worth it... (not because of the lack of themes..)

Right now my BB acts more like an iPhone (except for the dropped calls part ) and it cost me nearly half my free memory to upgrade.. we'll see, might have to downgrade..

hi, guess what.. i was just about to start the upgrading for my curve 3G then i saw your post... now i'm stuck... should i do it? ...should i not? cos i'm really a blackberry noobie to begin with and i'm a theme craze... mind sharing the headache if i should just go ahead and do the update now or hold on awhile more?
