My company wants to move from verizon using BES and Exchange 2003 to Cingular using BES and Exchange 2003. We have Verizon 7250 devices. Can we move to Cingular without buying new devices? I am asking here due to sensitivty of contract negotiations that may hinge on this move and don't want to tip off vendors.

No; Verizon and Cingular use different technologies. The CDMA based 7250 can not be made to work on the GSM based Cingular.

No chance of keeping your devices, will have to buy new...

The 7290 is the equivalent model for Cingular, however the 7250 can be made to run on the high speed Verizon EVDO network, but the 7290 is stuck on the slow GPRS network. The only other option is the 8700 which is more expensive and runs on the Cingular EDGE network which is not as fast as EVDO but still faster than GPRS.
