Default 8530 can't get on app world

Please Login to Remove!

I can't get on the web with my 8530. Says verify network connections and try again. not quite sure what to do, someone help?

A simple check will tell you if you do. Try to go to any web site using the blackberry browser. Make sure you are not using WiFI and are using the standard browser via the cell serivce. If this fails then call your carrier and verify the plan your on.

Also what error message do you get?

Sprint requires a plan that includes BIS to activate a BlackBerry, like the Everything Data Plan, so you must have it.

Try a battery pull while your BlackBerry is switched on and see if it works after re-boot. You can also try registering with the network again via Options > Advanced Options > Host Routing Table and using the Menu key to select Register.

I tryed a battery pull it didn't work and I have a bis so I don't understand what's wrong I'm really disappointed

LUGZ, that covers half of what rambo is telling you to look at and try, now look and see if the connection symbol on your phone is showing as EDGE, or edge, is it showing a 3G, or 4G connection ? If your phone is not going on line, or you cannot connect to a data service just call your carrier and have them check your connection to your BIS, and re-send your service books.

It is EDGE jaszman my I.M is working and I can browse the net I just can't log on to my app world to do upgrades or downloads its tells me to full in my I'd and I do then it says an error has occurred try again later but that's happening for the last month

LUGZ, sorry I haven't been checking the forums lately.

If your phone is saying EDGE, not edge then you definitely have data, and as you say everything else is OK.

I've heard of a few people having trouble with signing onto the new version of Blackberry World. Some have said it is an intermittent problem that cleared up a day or two latter on it's own.

Others have said there was an update, (I don't know which) they downloaded, and then they signed on OK.

One guy said he deleted the Blackberry World app from his phone and reloaded it and it worked for him.

I sorry I don't have better advice, but this is all I've read lately on the problem.
