Hey, I have a BB storm 2 and have had for about a week.

Sometimes when i get a text message it dosnt let me click and view the message.... It only does it with random texts, so if i get another text i can open and view that one, but it still wont let me open the first text.

Ive tried locking and unlocking my phone, putting it in the case and taking it out, and clicking the bb button and selecting open but it just dosnt want to open. The only way i can view it is if i restart my phone...

Thank God! Someone with the same problem. I had that problem and I took it to Verizon and they said it was a software problem. They gave me a new Storm. I had it for 24 hours and the same thing happened. So the problem is obviously me. But with the new phone, I didn't re-download any apps. I hooked it up to my blackberry desktop thing and it download updates and what-not. My new phone is bare-boned right now. Just pictures, contacts, and ringtones that I created. Something I have is f***ing my phone up and I can't figure it out. After I pull the battery, my phone will work for a day or so, but then , as the previous poster said...the links in the texts aren't highlighted anymore. Therefore I can't click on them. It's like my phone just gets tired out after a while and just gives up on opening SMS links. Everything else on my phone works great.

Wirelessly posted

EDIT: Forget what I wrote. I thought I was looking at a different post and just started typing.

Still, I suspect it isn't anything you guys are doing.

When that happens to me I compose a new SMS to whoever the contact is. Then it opens up the string.

It's weird and annoying, but that's the fix I've found.
