I just upgraded our bes to SP3 HF3 and I still do not see a change in options on my 7520. I have synced with USB cable, removed battery and restarted, resent IT policy and also resent service books as well.

I only see two available profiles on the 7520 under Options -> Bluetooth -> Options.
Handset and Handsfree.

Ideas?

you need to modify your IT policy

under bluetooth, there are two options you need to change, they default to false

disable wireless bypass: false
disable desktop connect: false

then resend IT policy

Alrighty, thanks for the pointer.. That was the start of achieving BT bliss on my HP nc8000 and the 7520... After fixing the IT Policy as I did not know only those two BT rules default to off, I had to attack the drivers on my HP.. They were the 3rd party drivers and did NOT work with the BB Desktop manager suite. And the SP2 generic driver was not available for my BT device....... So.... I edited the bth.inf file in my C:\windows\inf folder... I went down in the INF to where there was an HP device listed (Only one there) and removed the PNP string for it.. Then did the have disk for my device and pointed it towards the new bth.inf file... Boom, SP2 generic drivers work perfectly with that BT radio and now I can desktop sync with it...

Wow, what a pain...

Anyways, has anyone noticed how frickin fast the browsing on the BB is using the wireless bypass part of this? Kinda cool.....
