I am positive this is posted somewhere on this forum, but it is burried in all the other posts among the SP5 speculation.

Boy Genius reports general release on 2/29/08.

I searched the BBY Forum several times and couldn't find this info, yet one Google search popped it up right away. That is why I'm adding this as its own post.

On 2/29 RIM has just updated their Life Cylce page in the last few minutes to reflect a March 11th general availability date for SP-5. --per Boy Genius forum post.

As for the disflamers, I agree it sucks that one needs to be so cautious with the posts so as not to get flamed. I've noticed this forum can be kind of harsh at times.

Dont get your hopes up with SP 5, what I have installed its just another SP.
Used 4.3 firmware on an 8110, nothing special, so hopefully the firmware after this that we have all been waiting for does the job.
