If someone can tell me a program or how to create themes I am willing to create a bunch for the 7290 and post them. Please let me know if anyone has any leads on anything that would help me, even if it is just a sample theme that i can start modifying and disecting. Thanks.

I would also be very interested in any 7290 (or even earlier model) themes developed. Particularly, we have a request for a sight-impaired to have larger icons on the header bar...for instance, the envelope with the number of unopened emails appearing at the very top of the screen.

Does anyone know if themes are capable of enlarging those fonts/image sizes? Also, are there already themes available for the sight-impaired? I can't believe the option to ZOOM all screen fonts and images isn't built into the new models, but apparently it is not.

wondering if you've noticed the java tools available from the blackberry website. They maybe able to help u get started. :D

I have been informed by a couple of people that there will be a "Theme Creator" for Blackberry released by Blackberry... in the future, hopefully sooner than later.... If that happens then it may be really easy..... who knows....

The Vodafone 7290 4.0 software includes a theme from Voda for the 7290. It has larger icons and splits things into an "Applications" folder with a hotkey.

It looks nice, though could be better - RIM really needs to get a theme creation studio out, and SOON.
