I can't believe all of the issues I'm reading about with the Tour. I'm a happy T-Mobile Curve user for 2 years that will be switching to Verizon in October....now I'm not so sure about the Tour.

I'm slightly intrigued by the new Storm 2...any thoughts? I hated the first Storm (only played with it for 5 minutes) but the new one seems like a huge improvement technologically. The Of course the Storm 2 could have the same problems or worse. And there's the touchscreen issue that I'm not a big fan of....but maybe I'd get used to it. The upgrade in the touchscreen looks pretty cool.

The Tour seemed so perfect...... Even the "no-WiFi" I could care less about.

If you are a "happy TMO customer" why are you switching to Verizon?

A relative owns a TMobile/Verizon store that has to be changed to a Verizon-only store....so I have some family obligation to switch.

I have no problem with TMobile. I've never used Verizon (I've used about everyone else) but in general I know their coverage is much better....and data speed is much better. Customer service may be worse....but that's not important to me.

An upset user will post 10 times more than a happy user. I think some of the early Tours were lemons. I would buy with confidence in the next few months. The only thing is that you might want to wait for the WiFi Tour in ~January (check rumor mill).

Also, BB OS 5.0 is right around the corner, should resolve a lot of issues.

My fourth one, I think I finally got a later generation one. Has been great. Don't let all the early on stuff freak you out. The phone is amazing. And Verizon is too. You should be happy.

Well, I can't see leaving a carrier that you are happy with for one that you don't know much about, even if it is Verizon. Just my opinion however.

Do it! Lol...just get a Tour. By October it'll at be good. Tmobile personally is good, especially in customer service, but verizon, is better in reception, wayyyy better, customer service, not so good, at all as a matter of fact, but service reception, great.

Before you make the switch see if anyone has verizon and check the signal where yoy are going to be using it . I live in nj and my house has full 3g att network but. T-Mobile sprint and verizon has zero bars . So def check to see which has the better service forget the family . Lol

I have several friends with Verizon and the coverage in the Minneapolis and surrounding area is much better. T-Mobile's coverage is decent but there are dead spots. I have yet to find a location where T-Mobile's coverage is better. And the fact that Verizon is much faster, it's pretty much a no-brainer. Price and Customer Service rank pretty low on my phone priorities. The only thing that has kept me from Verizon in the past is their crappy choice of phones.
