i pressed delete prior in my messages section on the latest date
i.e. i pressed 11/29/08, delete prior

nothing happened

but now all the messages that i receive they are either in other folders or i can't find them at all

When you click delete prior, it takes a minute or so for the device to delete them all out. It will sit there like nothing is happening. Then they'll be gone.

You deleted your messages.

I have done this and they have always been in saved messages. The saved is close to the delete and if you move your finger slightly before you press delete it will save them.

It is a better option to hold the shift button and roll over the messages and then option delete, less issue with that.

hope that helps.

Everything's okay now thank you, ill be sure to do the shift button and roll over messages for deleting.

but i don't think it was because i pressed delete prior

i had changed my background to a picture that i had put on my phone from my computer, and after that everything lagged and took years to load.

but when i changed it back to an original theme, everything went back to normal. this never happened when i changed my background to another picture. is this normal?
