Default SlickTasks Task Management app: organise tasks into folders, set alarm, and more!

Please Login to Remove!

Hi,

We all know the native BB Tasks app is very inconvenient and sluggish to use productively. Recently I develop SlickTasks, an app that help you manage your tasks in a more comfortable, productive way. Tasks can be organised into nested folder or project, styling the task, setting task recurrence and reminder with customization like Reminder LED color and vibration.

The app is complete and in beta testing. Email me [email address] if you want to participate beta test with us.

Here is some screenshots:

That does look slick! What devices and OS's does it work with?

Can it be synced with Outlook? Can it import from the native Tasks and/or Calendar?

Everything OS 4.2+ should be okay.

Outlook sync feature will be implemented later. I want to make sure the app is run pretty well first.

Now, join and help us test the program. Thanks much!

How can I change the color of text/tasks as above in your screenshots? I'm using an 8900. It might seem like a sillt question but when I check bold, underline or anything and save _ it does nothing different. Much thanks

Hi, any one has the same problem?
In the Task Edit Screen, check bold, underline and color will make the text "Sample" changed exactly as how the task text looks. Hit "Save" will make the text changed

The first needed change I see is an expansion of the recurrence coding to include multiple recurrences within the same week. I know that sounds a bit confusing, but what I mean is the ability to schedule the same task on Tuesday and Thursday for example. The way it works now, one must schedule two different tasks to complete that scenario.

Thanks,

Steve

Not figured out how to change the font size yet, any ideas?

Was your update automatic? I didn't get it and I see no way to force an update.

Thanks.

question - will this app use the native task application to auto import and use the current existing tasks?

Will we be able to use the default task app and 3rd party apps to inject and create new tasks that show up under this application once its installed?

thanks

I loved the app - until I upgraded. Once I upgraded to the latest version I get an err "error starting slicktasks" Module 'SLicktasks-2' not found. Deleted and reinstalled, no luck

Any advice?

i can't seem to ?import (not sure on terminology) tasks from native/outlook to slicktasks. right now it's showing me my "old" task list: the one i had before i sync'd with outlook. so now i have an updated list on my computer, whcih i synced with blackberry. my native app has the correct info but slicktasks does not. so i pressed the "slicktasks <-- native" option and though it shows itself syncing, the info (=old) is the same. any ideas? i'm very afraid to press the "slicktask --> native" button thinking it'll give me OLD tasks/erase new ones. any ideas or am i doing somehting wrong?
