My Blackberry Bold 9900 has just decided to die on me, and I have no idea why.. There is no red light at all, and my computer won't recognise it with or without the battery inserted.. I have been trying to fix this issue for days now and have had no success.. So if anybody knows how fix this issue, could you please help me out.. Thank you.

It has been dropped yes, but not from a height that would cause serious damage.. And no i hasn't gotten wet... Thanks for the reply.

All drops can cause damage, and this one probably did.

Maybe the battery is dead/defective and wont charge. Try a new one or borrow one to test.

hmm.... If you power it on, while connected to a computer running blackberry desktop does it detect?

I managed to kill (really kill) the underlying firmware in less than 30 days of purchasing my original 9900.... Had to get a warranty replacement.

Does BBARK detect it?

I have seen in past if you keep every single email and have a lot of apps it turns in to a chain restart without the possibility of user interaction.
