We upgraded our blackberries at work yesterday to the 7290 with latest software. Mine worked fine for a while but now am getting the error message when I try to send a message. Incoming mail works fine and I can send to pin addresses ok. Can someone help this weekend since our crack IS dept is unavailable? The error message is "No message services configured. You will only be able to save draft. Appreciate any help.
I know I'm late on a response, but in case someone else is getting this message and actually searching the site, I thought I'd add it in.
If you get this message and go to Options > Service Book and see that there is an entry for Desktop [CMIME], then it's usually that the service book has become unregisterred with the messaging subsystem. Highlight the service book (Desktop [CMIME]) click the thumbwheel and choose delete. Once gone, click the thumbwheel and choose undelete. This will bring it back and reregister it.
It's not a guaranteed solution, but much quicker than reactivating if it does work.

I just tried this for a user here at work and it tested successfully. Thanks heaps!!
I have a new BB 8100T, and I use a PowerBook G4 (Mac). I do not have Internet/email activated on the BB, which I use for phone and texting only. However, I can only send and receive text messages to others in the T-Mobile network. T-Mobile told me today that sometimes a T-Mobile phone won't send to other networks; however, my son has a T-mobile phone and he has no problem texting my husband, who's on Cingular. I get the "No messages services configured..." message, and when I go to Advanced Options>Service Book there are no entries. Also, I work on a Mac and cannot find "Desktop Manager" to try the suggestion made earlier here. Anyone know how to solve this problem on a Mac?
