Default What`s with the 32MB internal memory ?

Please Login to Remove!

I have a Curve 8520 and in Media it shows I have only 32 MB available.I know (correct me if I am wrong)that you can't install apps on SD.Windows can do it.Android can do it.BB can't ?!! Now RIM is really xxxxxy. Not only it limits the internet service,(not affected at the moment cause I have a data plan) but also this ? Come on ! This is an impossibly small amount of space for apps and if I use all of it I guess my phone will be as fast as a dead snail. Any ideas or advice? Except for “ don't download apps“. Thanks

According to the specs for the 8520, you should have 256meg internal memory
BlackBerry - Curve 8500 Mobile Phone - New BlackBerry Curve 8500 Phone

If you only have 32meg remaining then something[s] are using it up.

ok lets not panic, for every problem there is a solution.
here is what u need to do, go to Options > Status > Menu (BB sign on ur phone) > Database Sizes.

u will see a big list now what i need u to do is to list the top 10 items from that list according to size.

w8ing ur post.

Ok.Solved ! Thanks Seems that the 32 MB memory is some silly limitation for the media player.Go to media folder, hit options and there will be something like device memory limit..largest is 32.seems I freaked out for nothing - I forgot we have a memory option under Options in the big menu ) Thanks anyway
