Default email account question

Please Login to Remove!

Still deciding on which model to get, 7230 or 7730. Will probably go 7730 though.

I'll be getting setup on my company's BES to access my corporate email and adding Tmobile's BB unlimited data plan.

My quesiton is. Is that the only email account I can access? Or do I also get a BB email address?

Can I use the default messages app for the corporate email, and install a third party email for personal email?

Thanks!

The only way you can access multiple email accounts from the BlackBerry is to sign up for BlackBerry Web Client. That is an additional monthly fee from the carrier.

So, anyone with Tmobile know if that means "t-zones" where you get an email address? The only thing I see listed for Tmobile is the blackberry unlimited data plan.

I guess that would depend on the carrier, actually. Nextel charges nothing extra for webclient access :D

To answer your question specifically:

No, you can use the BES server for your exchange/notes email and setup the web client for POP3 email. Any charge for this would be based on your contract.

I have 3 email addresses in webclient in addition to the BES profile.
