ok folks. i been googling for hours and can't seem to find my answer.

using the standard windows wordpad. NOT OFFICE. i can save the file and put it on the curve. but the curve won't open it. i used the standard windows notepad also. and no go. i've tried the blackberry word to go program and it can't even find the files.

NOW, if i save the wordpad file AS A UNICODE TEXT DOCUMENT type file. THEN I CAN OPEN WITH THE BLACKBERRY.

what i want to do is to be able to type EITHER wordpad or text file. transfer to the bb. open the file and be able to copy and paste inside an email. using the bb.

i plan on using pc. for my letters. but i want to be able to use my bb to be able to send in an email without having to send as a file attachment. all files are attachable and can be opened on pc. even though bb won't open.

i can attach the file to an email. but not everyone is bright enough to know there is a file or how to download and open.

answers? anyone? is there such a program that will allow me to open the file on my bb. and copy and paste inside an email that i want to compose using my bb.

docs to go will open Office Word files alot easier.
Is there a reason you cant use Word?

i have no need to buy a program that i have no need for. standard windows wordpad works just fine for me.

Ah I see.
No idea.
Perhaps need a different office program on the BB that can read .txt files.

create them in notepad not word pad
