I'd think $380 was cheap, i paid $400 for mine before i traded it on ebay, and at the time i seen other auctions with even higher prices.

Probably the demand at that time was higher...most corporate T-mobile store can offer a 8900 for 250 without contract, my company got a few for its employee.
