Default Trackball problem

Please Login to Remove!

My trackball stopped working in the mornng so I decided to get it replaced at a Flea market. The guy charged $40 for replacing the trackball. All was well until the night time when the trackball started giving me problems. Its hard to move the trackball, its like it is stuck or something. This is just frustrating and I am fedup of this trackball

Do you carry the device in your pocket? If so, there is probably dirt or lint under the ball. Turn your device OFF. Press and roll the trackball all around, in all directions for a minute or more. Continue pressing and blow some "canned air" all around it. Release. Turn the device back on and see if it works. If so, you are good to go and don't carry it in your pocket.

If not, there are instructions on here that detail how to take it apart. Just use the search function.

I'd suggest getting your hands on an OEM trackball. Save you a few bucks and most likely work better?

Some dude worked on your phone at a flea market? I'm not sure I could think of a more shady sounding scenario....
