Hi,

I need download link for older version of OS for my 8700g. I upgraded to 4.2.1 but its not working. Can someone share links for older versions of OS.

I am not looking for an upgrade...I need to downgrade to a lower version....

I don't have a link. But I seem to remember 4.2.1 is what my 8700g had when I bought it. I later upgraded to 4.2.2 and then 4.5.

What is not working?

i installed 4.1.0.194 and the bb started but getting sim error - inset sim card

An older OS is not going to fix that. It isn't an OS problem.

Is the BlackBerry unlocked?

Is the SIM card inserted in the correct orientation?

Does the SIM work in another phone?
