Gmail App Contacts Issue - BlackBerry Forums Support Community

I'm using the Java Gmail App as I don't currently have a BIS subscription. I note when composing an email that the autocomplete function only appears to work for 'recent' contacts. There isn't a way to select contacts 'manually' from the full list - although I know that I can type the addresses in manually - so I suspect that this may be a bug. If I go into the contacts menu it shows 'recent contacts' by default, and while I can select 'all contacts' this setting is not remembered and crucially does not feed back in to the compose window. I'm running OS 5.x.x.979 with Gmail version 2.0.7.1264. Any suggestions would be welcome.
