Exclamation Hockey Night in Canada Ringtone

Please Login to Remove!

Anypne know where i can get a monophonic "Hockey Night in Canada" Ringtone? I have found a polyphonic version. I do not know how to convert this to a monophonic tune for my 7250 Bell Blackberry. My blackberry only supports monophonic. I have searched the net for this ring tune but no luck in finding a monophonic version.

Any assistance would be appreciated.

Have you tried it on your 7250? I was surprised to find I could play some polyphonic ringtones on my 7290. I know the ringtones are polyphonic because I loaded them into a MIDI editor and saw the multiple tracks. The 7290 played only one of the MIDI tracks, but the files did play.

Yes, I tried it but it did not play. What midi editor do you use?

Logic, Cubase, etc are all fine examples of midi software.

I use Sonar, but just about any MIDI editor will do. As jibi mentioned, Logic and Cubase are also excellent programs.

Good point. These are the higher-priced MIDI editors, usually costing hundreds of dollars, depending on the bundled software.

Cakewalk's Music Creator is relatively inexpensive at $39.95. Here's a link for more info: http://www.cakewalk.com/Products/MusicCreator/. I haven't used it, but looking at the Editing Tools screenshot (http://www.cakewalk.com/images/Music...PianoRollB.jpg), it seems to offer basic editing capabilities.

Edit: There are probably some free or shareware MIDI editors available, as well.

you're looking at more than $500-1200 for those applications though. might want to just send the .mid file to someone to convert to mono (assuming its that easy ... DavidE?)

It should be that easy... except I've run into problems trying to edit BlackBerry ringtones. If I drop tracks or edit out notes, I often get notes that play fine on my computer but become stuck (won't stop) playing on my 7290. The MIDI implementation on the BlackBerry is very basic, and something usually goes haywire that I don't understand and don't know how to fix. With some of the ringtones I edited, I had to add in extra low-volume notes to keep the original notes from becoming stuck.

I'm looking forward to the 8700. I have a bunch of cool system sounds and odd sound effects I've collected over the years. I plan to link them with some of the names in my address book. MP3 and WAV files will be much easier to work with than MIDI files.

I can host it on a site if it's e-mailed to me.
Send a PIN for my e-mail address to 3007729C if interested.
I edited a polyphonic ringtone down to a monophonic ringtone using a free midi editor...took a while to do, and lots of testing, but can be done.
I don't remember the name of it, but I stumbled across it pretty quickly googling free midi editor.

Hi,
Now that the playoffs are in full swing I was looking for this ringtone for my 7520 but this search link doesn't exist anymore. Does anyone have it?
