I paid $249 (after $50 mail in rebate) when I bought it on release day. Not seeing a price drop here.

i paid $249 plus tax for my 8320 last week with free ground shipping(got it in 2days) but had to extend my contract for 2 more years-which I have no problem doing since i've been happy with the service.

I just called and confirmed this. For a partial upgrade my price would be $349. Nice find. Thanks.

Because I just went to the T-mobile web site and the phone is being sold for $249.99 for 2 years. Not $349.99 for 2 years.

Was that post directed at me? My price was after a one year contract extension and before $50 rebate which I am probably not eligible for.

Q4 Biz Promo pricing came out yesterday and amazingly 8320 is on the list...
Paid $199, waived activation fee of $35, free 2-day shipping, 1-year contract.... $50 MIR will make this $149...
All of you who paid more than $200 last week and can afford to be without your curve for abt 3 days may want to consider returning them and get on this deal . . . However, it's your money and you can do whatever you please with them . . .

You should start a thread on "What would you do with the $50 you saved on returning/ordering new phone?"
(For $50 I am keeping mine; it is a pain to reconfigure my PIN for friends/clients/colleagues, and to reinstall my {own-made} themes... Still, fifty bucks is fifty bucks! Bummer...)

You might want to try the $50 rebate anyway. It looked to me like it would work without any new activation, but you have to be on a plan worth $x a month (depending on if it is data/individual/family).
The form is not in or on the box. If you buy it at the store, they print the form out for you. If you got it through the mail I'd guess you are on your own there.

You have to read the Eligibility Requirements of the Handset Upgrade Rebate Form and see if you qualify. . . among others, device upgrade must be purchased through Customer Care or T-Mobile Owned Retail Locations; if currently in a 1-year contract, 11 or more active months since last discounted handset purchase AND 11 or more active months on a $39.99/mo. or higher single-line rate plan or $69.99/mo. or higher FamilyTime rate plan . . .other conditions as listed . . . Read, Read, Read . . .
Here's Upgrade Rebate Form for device purchased from T-Mobile Owned Retail Location:
http://www.tmobilerebates.com/shared...408-2508-2.pdf
Not all Mail-in-rebates will be fulfilled, even if the salesperson insisted and promised you that you'll get fifty bucks back, if the conditions of the printed Rebate Form are not met. . . .
So, Buyer Beware!

Just to clarify, I believe Lunk's (OP) intent for this thread is to share the price drop made by T-mobile . . . regardless of one's eligibility for a $50 MIR . . . For some, this is on top of the $50 MIR being offered . . .
