PocketDay Professional new version 6.0.0.3
Please Login to Remove!
Got an email today from Just Another Mobile Monday that PocketDay was updated to version 6. However, when I go to the site to download, 5.6.3 is still there. I have an 8310, so I'm wondering if this upgrade is only for more recent models.
Anyone know?

Well, the change to AccuWeather is a definite improvement. They've replaced the 48 hour forecast with an hour-by-hour forecast, and added a "current conditions" report.
The best part was that the upgrade maintained all of my settings and preferences. The only change I had to make was changing the weather IDs to zip codes. My RSS, stocks, and custom scoreboards all remained intact, as did the calendar, fonts, etc.
There's still a slightly squirrelly problem on my Storm: when I hold it in portrait mode with PD open, then lay it flat and pick it up again, it rotates the screen a quarter turn clockwise. Similarly, if it's in landscape, it rotates one quarter counter-clockwise. It won't correct itself until I escape to the BB home screen and come back in.

I have a problem with the list-bar of the Pocket-Lists section, after the upgrade. I can't see the bar, only when I scroll over it. I also can't open PL as application anymore. (Uncaught exeption:..)

I believe I read on their site that this has been fixed.
I just DL'd the 6.0.0.6 trial version and I'm unable to get the background image to change. Anyone else have this problem or a fix for it? I'm on an 8330 Curve with a 4.5 OS.
Is there a setting that I am missing? I have tried rebooting, restarting, gone through the menus thoroughly, but can't seem to get it to work.
Any ideas?

Now I can't see the bar for the Lists section either. I did when I first upgraded it. Maybe it has to do with the color settings because I changed them several times. Have you tried changing the colors?
PD Lists works fine separately for me.

Yes, I tried changing colours, but also with text color 'white', no text with black backround.

I am a great fan of PocketDay and had installed 6.0.0.3, but reinstalled my previous version when I discovered that it opened without the sections expanded. Glad that we now have the option to open expanded.
Will now upgrade.
I am told that we will have to upgrade anyway by March as we will loose weather support with the old supplier then. I was holding on with the previous version because of my issue with expanded sections, which has now been resolved.

On 6.0.0.7 now that expanded sections available on start up.
Smoothest upgrade of a major new version of PocketDay ever. As stated above, all settings ported over except for weather, which considering a new provider, is not surprising.
Only issue I am having is I cannot scrowl down until I press any button on my BlackBerry (I usually press the space bar). This is not new with this version. I experienced it with 5.0 version of PocketDay as soon as I upgraded my OS to 5.0.0.411 from a 4.6 OS. Anyone else experiencing this issue with any version of PocketDay and OS 5.0?

Yes, I am experiencing this too. Another minor bug I have found is when I click on Check for Updates, I often get the update is availabe box, but I am already running the latest version. In fact, though I am currently running 6.0.0.7, when I click on Check for Updates, it says "click to download 6.0.0.5"

Glad to see I am not alone with these issues.
Me too. When I check for updates, it says I can update when I am already using 6.0.0.7 and says I will be updating to 6.0.0.5 (when it is infact about to download 6.0.0.7)
As you said these are minor bugs. I will follow up with tech support (help). They are usually very prompt in responding.
