Default Moving apps in Cingular Theme

Please Login to Remove!

I like the theme actually, but without being able to move applications between the Applications submenu and the Main Menu, my loved shortcuts aren't that useful. Does anyone know if it is possible to move applications on this theme?

I tried holding ALT key and clicking the wheel in (while on the application in the application folder) and choosing 'Move Application'. Then clicking the 'escape' button and I was hoping I would be able to 'drop' the application on the Main Menu. However, this results in a very nice Java Exception which requires a restart.... Perfect eh?

On the 7100 you can not move apps between menus. I would assume (since I don't get my 8700 until tonight) that it is the same on the 8700.

Default Sub menus are limiting shortcuts

I actually like the Cingular theme but for that limitation. For example, O goes to Options but if it's not on the home screen to you have to go to the submenu so why bother.

Yeah Cingular theme is by far my favorite theme, just pisses me off about the Options shortcut and not being able to move apps out of applications folder..

I have changed my theme to the "BB Insight-Icon" theme which reminds me more of the 7290 theme and eliminates the apps folder, so all the icon are on the main screen. I don't have more than a screen full, so it works for me.

Default I reported this to Cingular today

Had a chat with one of their BB national reps. Don't expect a change but it's reported.
