I know it works to unlock a red pearl, i called tmobile to verify that. I got a white one and i like it. For some reason the red one costs a bit more.

Default Red Pearl on T-mobile

I have had quite a few customers come in and activate unlocked Red Pearls on T-mobile. No problems, it will work and function the exact same way as a Pearl purchased from T-mobile directly. Nothing big to do or anything of the sort. Just walk in and activate it or if a pre-existing customer just stick your sim card in.

Call your carrier and tell them you'll be traveling to another country and will need the ability to use prepaid SIM cards. They'll ask for your IMEI and email you the unlock code along with instructions within several days.

Do you think T Mobile will tell me how to unlock a AT&T red pearl?
