Default Loose contact in battery compartment ?

Please Login to Remove!

I have had my T-mobile 8700g for a couple of months now and love it. There's just one problem that occurs sporadically - sometimes, a sudden jerk or a small knock causes the device to shut off. The power button doesn't appear to work then. The only (and reliable) way to get the system up is to open the battery cover, pull the cell out and put it back in. Then everything is just fine. Has anyone else encountered this issue ? It is not very frequent at all, happening maybe once every 2-3 weeks. For those who have encountered this and worked around it, what is your preferred hack ? Thanks.
