Hi all, I have this little problem and have no clue how to solve it, a few days ago and since I bought my phone I was able to see incoming messages (SMS, Yahoo, BB messenger, etc) in the external screen, so I can see what kind of message was arriving, but since a few days the phone stop to doing that and i want it back, im pretty sure that I have not changed anything in the setup, the only place i have checked its in:

Options -> External Notifications

I have this options:

Automatic Bacllight: No
Display Notification Details: Always
Display Message Preview: Yes
Notification Dduration: Long
Manual review mode: Standard

what steps have you tried to resolve this so far? usually a battery pull will clear this up

I only have remove the battery, and the external screen dont wake up when a message arrives, i mean, you know when you just close the phone the external screen remains a few seconds on and then fade to off, if a sms message arrives while the external screen still on i see the animation for the incoming message, but if arrives when is off i dont see anything, i want to the external screen to wake when a message arrives and show me the animation.

turn your automatic backlight on. that should make it "wake up" when you receive a message.
