Default Media Manager won't work with Netbook

Please Login to Remove!

I have an Acer Netbook that has 1028x600 max resolution, and media manager won't open. Is there an older version that will work, or is there a way to get the current 4.7 version to work? Thx.

Have you tried setting it up in safe mode?

I doubt that safe mode would even permit the media manager to open.

Do you know if the Roxio process is running after you click on it? (Task Manager will list it)

Did you have any other Roxio programs installed prior to installing DM 4.7?

What OS are you running on your computer?

Are you able to launch Roxio from outside the desktop manager?

From Start -> Program like a normal app?

It is not running because your screen resolution is too low, in Roxio's system requirements in the Documentation it states: "1024x768, 16-bit color graphics card; 24-bit or 32-bit true color recommended" under minimum requirements. Your resolution is fine on width but not on height.
The only solution I can think of would be a software increase, I have seen apps for this for Linux etc, however on a brief google search I could not find any Windows ones.

Are you trying to copy media from your pc to your memory card for your blackberry ? If you are why don't you try to directly insert the memory card into your netbook and copy the content ?

Let me know if your netbook has a memory card reader.

Most netbooks usually have a built in memory card reader, a friend of mine has an Acer One, which has the same screen resolution as roadie144's and that does have a memory card slot.
