I really need help!

I have been trying to push out a piece of software whith no joy at all - I have searched the forum and done everything suggested but still no luck??

Software Config created no problem, when I deploy I get the following error in the log:

Syntax error in vendorxml line 0, column 0. Reason: XML document must have a top level element.

I have replaced the device.xml & vendor.xml with new ones

ran the index again to create new specification.pkg & pkgdbcache.xml files

I am really stuck as to how to get this working now?

More details maybe? BES 5.0.x? How did you update xml files?

Hi,

Sure - BES 4.1 (we are puting a new BES 5 HA solution in place in about a month but I need to get this working now)

I downloaded the XML files from RIM, I found the link to them on serveral posts in this forum.
