Hi, all,

I'm new to Blackberry, and very glad to have found this forum!

I have a little Pearl flip phone. The envelope icon that I click on to see just my Hotmail emais (as opposed to the envelope that shows all kinds of messages, even missed calls) has developed a second, smaller, orange, kind of sloppy-looking encvelope or pouch attached to the bottom edge of it.

I thought it might mean the folder was getting full, but I deleted a *lot* of emails and the orange thing is still there.

Can anyone tell me what it means?

My keyboard also keeps spontaneously (wow, now there's a Word Mole word to remember!) switching from multitap, which I love, to that so-called SureType, which, as my mother would say, I hate, loathe and despise! (She always did have a way with words, my mother - she would have been good at word mole...)

Can anyone help me banish the offending SureType from my little Black Pearl?

RIM have changed the icon. Its just so you can graphically identify it as the "hotmail mailbox" as opposed to a regular POP email account icon.
