Default "Clean Up" my 8703e?

Please Login to Remove!

What is the best way to "clean up" my 8703e so that it will run faster and not have so much wasted space without doing a reset losing all of my settings (i.e. book marks, browser options, calendar options, etc.)

I know I can do a reset and then restore only certain items with DM, but I just didn't know if there was any easy way to delete items that may make it run faster (internet cache, etc)

Thanks!

You can clear the browser cache simply in the browser options.

If I were you , I would follow John Clark's memory optimization post in the General Section of this forum (Sticky Notes) http://www.blackberryforums.com/gene...ee-memory.html
and reload the OS, or the latest OS for the 8707.
http://www.blackberryforums.com/gene...-119-cdma.html

do a complete backup first. (although the upgrade will do so also).

The 8703e is a CDMA device; isn't the 8707 GSM, so the OS is incompatible?

Yes it is, thank you for catching that...

The correct thread for the latest OS for the 8703 would be:
http://www.blackberryforums.com/gene...-119-cdma.html

Again, sorry--I had just dealt in another thread with the 8707, and still had that on my brain.
