Default Appleberry Theme

Please Login to Remove!

Is anyone noticing after installing this new theme, that the Storm is running a lot slower?

I actually like the theme but I am not sure I can deal with a slow overall speed?

Yeah, I ditched it after a day of use.

Great theme but I think there needs to be a bit more engineering for them not to bog the phone operation down.

I've had it for about 6 hours and haven't seen any slowdown. I deleted out the other themes that were there...did a reboot and everything is good. I'm on .75.

I am running the .103 OS and it was ridiculous, just slow and would constantly be thinking. Not worth it. Great looking theme, and I appreciate the effort, but I will wait until official themes start coming out. Plus the default theme is actually pretty nice.

Thumbs up

Mine was slow at first but it all worked it self out. system needs to run through it all and then it'll be ok. At least mine was. Works great now.

The first few minutes after install were SLOW. I did a battery pull and after using the theme for an hour ir so, it seems that evrrything is running about as fast as before the install. I'm running 4.7.0.103.

Maybe it's slow because it's emulating an Apple?

Appleberry update 0.8.7 is resuming tomorrow - it's faster and better. No problems - clean - crisp.

Its available on Crackberry.com...I just googled it and found it right away. I'm on .103 and even without a battery pull it seemed crisp and fast. Very clean looking them...makes a sharp phone (Storm) look even sharper!

It is probably a good idea that once you install a new theme to re-boot the device or do a battery pull. I have noticed that some theme developers kind of build that into thier themes. That is when you download it and automatically re-boots. I also notice that when you delete a theme, the device request a re-start to finish the deletion.
